Summary
The MIL Corporation is looking for an Engineering, Team Lead , requiring strong proficiency in PowerShell, DOS, Install Wrapper Scripts, MSI, MST transforms and vendor packaging tools where applicable. Expertise in deploying packages and applications using System Center Configuration's (SCCM) various available methods in each category, along with resolving technical problems related to packaging and deployments to the enterprise. Advanced skills and expertise shall also be used to identify and implement modifications to group policy and security, as they pertain to the Windows operating systems and application packaging.

Summary
The MIL Corporation is looking for an Engineering, Team Lead , requiring strong proficiency in PowerShell, DOS, Install Wrapper Scripts, MSI, MST transforms and vendor packaging tools where applicable. Expertise in deploying packages and applications using System Center Configuration's (SCCM) various available methods in each category, along with resolving technical problems related to packaging and deployments to the enterprise. Responsibilities
- Create, test, and deploy software packages
- Able to work under guidance with little to no supervision to complete packaging assignments
- Troubleshoot and correct automated deployment failures
- Reinstall deployed software (i.e. patches and upgrades) or software which failed to receive automated deployment
- Resolve complex software deployment problems related to install/uninstall
- Work with Service Desk to help resolve software deployment problems related to install/uninstall
- Create technical and end-user documentation on problem resolution related to software deployment
- Provide clear and precise status reports as requested with defined criteria from deployments
- Resolve complex Tier III escalated service requests relating to software and hardware support
- Remove and cleanup malware, isolated viruses, and spyware per security guidelines. Malware, isolated viruses, and spyware shall be removed and cleaned within 8 business hours of government notification
- Ability to create/modify Windows 10 (LTSB and Semi Annual Channel Enterprise versions) workstation image configurations, including; applying security lockdowns, creating application packages, creating task sequences, creating/updating driver packages, creating/updating boot images, modifying system variables, deploying changes to workstations via approved technologies
- Ability to effectively present data to stakeholders that may include internal company executives as well as high-level government officials.
- Ability to monitor for SLA compliance and provide necessary guidance, communication, and escalations to resolve potential issues proactively.
- SCCM deployments shall be monitored daily to ensure successful deployments. Failures and warning shall be investigated and mitigated to ensure all patches and deployments are applied
- Creating and delivering data driven reports as needed detailing status of any workload, projects, team metrics, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency with concepts of deployment of software packages in SCCM
- Proficiency with concepts and technologies (Flexera AdminStudio, Wise Package Studio, Windows appx, and/or other enterprise software) for application software packaging and distribution
- Functional knowledge of Windows USMT
- Proficiency in scripting using PowerShell, VBS, DOS or other language
- Proficiency in testing software packages, documenting test results, and resolving technical problems
- Comprehensive technical problem resolution skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 operating system
- Customer Service skills and the ability to provide a flexible and friendly approach to customers and colleagues
- Ability to maintain focus and professionalism in high stress situations.
- Comfortable with delegation of tasks.
- Ability to build teamwork through collaboration and trust.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, potentially in a group setting that could include high-level government officials.
