Building Automation Technician The George Mason University Facilities Department is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person for a Building Automation Technician. George Mason University has a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff, and strongly encourages candidates to apply who will enrich Mason's academic and culturally inclusive environment.About the Position: This person will perform journeyman level work in the installation, modification, repair and replacement of Mason's DDC systems and equipment, using necessary safety equipment, hand tools, ladders and testing equipment. Installs, maintains, and monitors computer based Direct Digital Control (DDC) control systems. Inspects HVAC systems and controls to determine preventative maintenance schedules or finds needed corrective maintenance repairs and reports findings to Building Automation Supervisor.This position will work at our Fairfax campus. The working hours for this position will be Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm.
