HR File ClerkGeorge Mason University's Human Resources and Payroll Office is looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous individual to serve as a part-time File Room Clerk. Responsibilities: Responsible for record management of the University's personnel files;Create, process, and maintain the University's file records;File and retrieve documents for HR & Payroll staff;Prepare records for archiving at our off-site storage;Maintain file room logs to track the location of files;Dispose of files according to established document-retention schedules;Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Team regarding onboarding processes;Provide support to the Office Manager.Required Qualifications: Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy;Ability to prioritize work, follow through, and willingness to be flexible;Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism;Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;Experience with collaboration and communication with diverse individuals with differing needs at all levels of the organization;Demonstrated experience with data entry;Strong attention to detail.
