DCS Corporation is looking for a highly motivated laboratory manager to coordinate and run human subjects research related to human-AI interaction and novel biosensor development in a state-of-the art research facility.
Essential Job Functions:
Work within a team of interdisciplinary scientists and engineers to design human subjects research studies
Coordinate with an Institutional Review Board to obtain and maintain study approval
Conduct human subjects research in complex virtual reality environments using state of the art commercial and novel sensing technology
Perform preliminary data analysis to confirm data quality
Develop and maintain documentation for laboratory best practices
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, sociology, biology, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or other related field
Experience working in a research lab performing human science research
Experience recording human subject behavior and/or physiological responses using digital recording equipment
Proficiency in technical writing including but not limited to: standard operating procedures, research protocols, grant submissions, and academic publications
Desired Skills:
Master of Science in psychology, sociology, biology, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, or other related field
Experience with recording electroencephalography (EEG), electrocorticography (ECG), eye-tracking, and/or motion capture
1-3 years of experience managing a research laboratory
Experience writing IRB submission documentation,
Experience writing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for lab equipment
Demonstrated experience in technical writing including but not limited to: standard operating procedures, research protocols, grant submissions, and academic publications
