Our opening for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator requires successful candidate to obtain credit collection reports as required for management and other areas as needed to include: Implement tools for collections and monitor their effectiveness. (ie. agency demand letters, skip trace, asset search, and business reporting) Provide input regarding credit system functionality. Maintain credit systems. Work with the administrative teams, controllers, international and sales to improve customer collections. Investigate and resolve problems that cause customer late payments for assigned accounts. Negotiate with bad credit customers to obtain payment. Responsible for assisting in past due collection efforts of assigned US sales. Attempt final collection of past due receivable balances through problem investigation, customer negotiation and use of outside resources. Coordinate use of collection agencies and legal counsel. Manage high risk accounts as determined. This entails being the customers main point of contact which includes providing spreadsheets, invoices, reconciliations, or any other necessary assistance to obtain payment and maintaining limited risk to Securitas Electronic Security. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience working at a government contractor. Requires several years experience in credit and or collections. Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to negotiate. Must have problem solving skills.
