Seeking: A rockstar restaurant General Manager who is looking to grow with an AMAZING company. Cold Stone Creamery serves up the finest, freshest ice cream, cakes, smoothies and shakes using only the highest quality ingredients, and of course, our signature process of preparing your custom ice cream creation on a frozen granite stone.YOUR QUALIFICATIONS: College degree is preferred but a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative. Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record-keeping, and preparation of reports. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be eligible to work in the United States.YOU: A self-disciplined individual who has great initiative, leadership ability, and an outgoing personality. You maintain a pleasant, polite manner, as well as a neat and clean appearance. You motivate your employees and encourage them to work as a team to ensure that food and service meet the appropriate standards. You are able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide-range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions when restaurant problems arise. You have good communication skills for dealing with diverse staff. You have the ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage, and labor cost while maintaining required standards of operation in daily restaurant activities. You are able to determine applicability of experience and qualifications of job applicants.WORKING CONDITIONS: Hours may vary if manager must fill in for his/her employees or if emergencies arise (typical work week = 45 hours). Be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products, and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
