Looking or Electrical Foreman, Journeyman, and ApprenticesForemanCapable of managing crews of individuals on commercial projects. References from General Contractors to support foreman's performance on larger projects are a plus. Fire Alarm (NICET) experience and a Master Electricians license considered a plus. Strong organizational and people skills will succeed in this position. Based upon experience, the company could offer company truck, gas card, phone stipend, annual bonuses, Employer paid Health Insurance, and industry leading benefits.The Foreman's Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:Point of contact for general contractor's field superintendentPossess complete knowledge of all drawings, specifications, construction schedules, electrical equipment submittals, and mechanical equipment submittalsResponsible for managing and training all jobsite field personnelResponsible for providing and establishing a safe workplace for all employees onsiteResponsible for the complete field execution of the construction and performance of the electrical contract workResponsible for tracking jobsite materials and toolsResponsible for scheduling and conducting all jobsite inspections, testing, and owner trainingPromote company reputationSkills & RequirementsCommercial Electrical (10+ years)Driver's LicenseMust be willing to commute to jobsitesMinimum 7+ years of experience as a commercial electrical foreman on School's, Prisons, Office Buildings, Medical Facilities, or similarly state/federally funded projectsLicensed Journeyman preferred, but not requiredPerform well under pressureBasic computer knowledge, ability to navigate in Microsoft office, Bluebeam, Procore, etc.Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude.JourneymanPerforms all electrical tasks with general supervision, possesses Journeyman license, has the ability to read blue prints, terminate cable, install and trouble shoot control wiring from drawings, is able to demonstrate experience factors exceeding an electrical apprentice, and must be efficient in rough in work.The Journeyman Electrician Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:Install feeders and branch circuitsWire and conduit sizingSwitchgear, panelboard, lighting, and device installation and terminationFire alarm systems installation and terminationLayout and preparation for installationUnderground layout and rough-inMotor and controls trouble shootingMentor and train apprentice electriciansFully comprehend electrical theory and the NFPA 70 National Electrical CodeSkills & RequirementsReliable transportationMinimum 4+ year of experience as a commercial electricianExperience with all hand and power tools associated with electrical workHigh School diploma or GEDSuccessful background checkApprenticeLearn on-the-job under the supervision of a journeyman electrician. The apprenticeship will teach you how to assess and repair electrical problems on commercial job sites. As an Electrician Apprentice, you will complete both hands-on projects on job sites and coursework in a classroom setting. To start, your duties will include basic cleaning and maintenance tasks and progress to more skill-based tasks as you gain experience.
