POSITION TITLE: Program Manager, Government ProgramSupervised by: VP, GovernmentSupervises: Government Project ManagersFLSA Status: Full time, ExemptLocation: HQ in Brecksville, OH; this position can be remote (home based)POSITION SUMMARY: The Program Manager, Government Program is the Enterprise PM for the government projects. In this role, Incumbent will direct and support the team in managing and coordinating the implementation of MediQuant's solutions. This position will directly contribute to MediQuant's ability to be successful in the government market or other large, commercial strategic healthcare systems.JOB DUTIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. (An Asterisk (*) Identifies an Essential Function)Provides Enterprise-level Project Management for government program. * (100%)Works with Vice President Government Programs on design, planning and implementation of government pilot projects.Coordinates Delivery Team resources to support government pilot to include other Project Managers, Data Engineers, Data Modelers, and Implementation Consultants and other roles that may be identified in the future.Manages overall project timelines, resources, and costs with other government team members.Communicates Delivery Team status to Government Program Leadership (internal and external) to support team members, client communication and escalations.Facilitates group Government PMO team meetings to share important information on best practices, expectations, processes, training etc.Serves as an escalation point in ensuring that assigned projects are on time and in scope and that individual performance and/or organizational process issues are addressed as needed.Creates Dashboards and Reports within project management tools to ensure visibility into all projects, status, delivery dates, hours, etc.Training & Staff DevelopmentCoaching/Mentoring of Project Managers- serves as an advisor to Project Mangers to help grow both technical/process skills along with soft skills so that he/she can effectively lead and grow the talent on their team and work well together as a group.Knowledge Management - Ensures that training, knowledge sharing, and related written materials are produced by, and delivered among, all current and new staff; implements and monitors training plans for new hires; incorporates training into regular team meetings.Project Management Methodology - Ensures that Project Managers are trained in and following MediQuant's best practice Project Management methods, including consistent use of provided systems and tools as well as weekly status updates.Project Management Templates - Ensures that standard templates/tools are available, updated, and utilized for all phases of a project (ie, pre-kickoff activity, kickoff materials, status update agendas, sign-off documents, project plans, etc.).Supervisory Responsibility: Solution Delivery Process and Documentation SpecialistCompetencies.Critical ThinkingProblem-SolvingLearning FocusProfessionalism and ComposureCustomer Service OrientationProject Management perspectiveInterpersonal SkillsAdaptability & FlexibilityCreativity and InnovationCollaboration/Team PlayerStrong Documentation SkillsRequired Education and Experience.Bachelor's degree or higher required, in Healthcare, IT, or related field preferred. In lieu of degree, 3-5 years of experience in Healthcare Clinical Field plus an Associate's Degree in Healthcare, IT, or related field.Three (3) Plus years' experience leading large complex projects within the healthcare industry involving archive projects for MediQuant or a similar companyThree plus (3+) years of successful and proven experience with formal Project Management Methodology; (PMI certification preferred) in an archiving settingExtensive knowledge of differences between clinical, ERP, and Patient Accounting data within healthcare environment and the implications of archiving this dataExperience with process improvement identification and implementationPC proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.) required.Additional Eligibility Qualifications.Above average written and verbal communication skills required.Strong meeting facilitation skills.Excellent keyboarding skills (accuracy is critical).Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects at the same time.Work Environment. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the "core"A' work hours of 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and is expected to work 40-45 hours each week.Travel.
