We are looking for Network Support and Design Technician candidates who have experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting technical LAN-WAN-SFN network infrastructures, compute, and cloud environments. These positions will provide support for our growing customers' and are a critical part of our team approach to supporting our customers' systems. These individuals are responsible for recommending, designing and developing scalable, maintainable, highly available network and systems architectures that meet our customers' business objectives. We are a dynamic, diverse, growing company looking for active, qualified and motivated individuals to join our growing team.Responsibilities: Configure and install various network devices and services (eg, compute systems, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, SN, QoS, Wireless, VoIP)Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurationsMonitor performance and ensure system availability and reliabilityMonitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planningProvide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues for our customers and internal systemsWork within configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureReview, select and implement infrastructure and security tools, policies, and proceduresInterface with customers and staff as needed to provide support and determine infrastructure needs and proposal responsesEngage and interact with customers, vendors, and other internal and external IT personnel in a professional mannerSkillsProven hands-on network engineering experience (3 or more years)Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems experienceLinux Systems experienceVirtualization Platforms experience (ie VMWare, Hyper-V, )Storage Area Network experienceEnterprise Network Hardware experience for a variety of manufacturers (ie Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet, HPE, )CCNP or higher desired (CCIE and/or CISSP desired)Understanding of networking protocols (ie IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS, )Understanding of the OSI modelHands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics toolsUniversity Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subjectPlease provide a Professional Resume and Salary requirementsJob Type: Full-timePay: $25.00 - $60.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Associate (Required)Experience:Network Support: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
