POSITION SUMMARY: As the primary first point of contact at the community for our customers through telephone or in-person interactions, the Receptionist provides exemplary customer service in a friendly and professional manner. This position is responsible for graciously greeting community visitors, addressing the questions or concerns of prospective or current residents and families, and providing support to community relations and the business office.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A cents € cents High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. A cents € cents Previous experience answering telephones and/or in a customer service position preferred. A cents € cents Experience with operating office equipment including phone systems, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, photocopier, and the ability to quickly learn new systems preferred. A cents € cents Working knowledge of computers including Excel, Word, and MS Office required.RESPONSIBILITIES: A cents € cents Create a positive, comfortable, inviting experience for visitors and residents by managing the lobby experience A cents € cents Monitor and ensure desk and lobby are clean and neat. A cents € cents Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing-oriented way, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. A cents € cents Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable. A cents € cents Answers general questions about the community and provides callers with address, directions, and other information and refers other specific questions to appropriate staff. A cents € cents Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. A cents € cents Receives, sorts, and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications. A cents € cents Distributes written communication, accepts, and signs for deliveries. A cents € cents Maintains copy and fax machines, assists users, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes. A cents € cents Creates and prints fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested. A cents € cents Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating. A cents € cents Collects rent checks from residents and family members and provides needed information to bookkeeping for billing. A cents € cents Assist in processing new resident and employee documentation as requested. A cents € cents Assist in processing payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other bookkeeping functions as requested. A cents € cents assist in maintenance of resident and employee files and documentation while maintaining confidentiality as requested. A cents € cents Promote and encourage residents to participate in activities. A cents € cents Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. A cents € cents Maintains a valid driver's license for car travel as needed. A cents € cents Attend all required in-service trainings.
