Overview We are a growing software company looking for a sharp, intuitive, tech-savvy Technical Support Specialist to join our team! This is a full-time, in-office, position. Minimal travel to customer sites may be required. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.AudSoft, Inc. is an industry-leading small business, specializing in the development, sale, and support of audiology software. Concentrations include client and server support in the medical field, HL7 troubleshooting, and end-user account configuration. As a company, we're small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and develop a long-term career with our organization.Our team is frequently tasked with supporting a wide array of projects including setup and support of our software on end-user workstations, maintenance of server software applications, and implementation of HL7 interfaces for our external customers that range from small clinics to large hospitals and institutions.If you're someone that is self-motivated with a can-do attitude and looking for a stable company where you can learn and grow, then this Technical Support Specialist role is an ideal position!ResponsibilitiesProvide technical assistance and support, by phone and remotely for all users of our software.Install and configure hardware and software on desktop computers in medical clinics all over the country.Ensures that all relevant communication, documentation, and files related to the case are accurately recorded in the ticket system.Train users to gain proficiency in the use of their softwareManage hardware and software inventory and accurately forecast equipment needs and acquire necessary components to ensure consistent delivery of service to employeesAssist with the development of IT documentation including system setup procedures, network topology drawings, troubleshooting processesSupport OS including but not limited to: Windows 10, Server 2008r2, 2012, 2016, 2019Maintain HIPAA compliance certifications.Assist with other projects and duties, as neededSome required travel is anticipated with this opportunityQualifications Associates degree in a related field or 3 years of desktop support experience, in the medical field, is a plusExcellent interpersonal communication and customer service skillsGeneral knowledge of LAN/WAN systems, VPN, and conceptsStrong time management skills and attention to detail with regard to note-taking and troubleshooting documentationExperience working with Microsoft technologies including Windows and Windows ServerExperience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft OfficeJob Type: Full-timePay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Windows: 3 years (Preferred)Willingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
