We are looking for candidates who have experience providing technical assistance and support to clients and staff with computer system, hardware, networking, or software issues. Our starting salary range will be based on experience and capabilities.Responsibilities include: Provide first level contact and convey resolutions to customer issuesMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk systems internal and external to us and our customersTrack and update helpdesk requestsRespond to IT issues to include: hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc. Resolve technical problems with workstations, applications, networks, remote worker issues, VoIP, basic account and systems administration, and other system related requestsUtilizing high standards of customer service, provide helpdesk and technical support either by phone, remote access, or site visits including overseeing troubleshooting for system errors and automated alerts receivedReport significant and recurring issues to the Tier-2-3 support teamSet up equipment for new users and employees and trainBe inquisitive and listen to customers to determine root cause of issuesAssist in maintaining and managing IT Hardware Inventory and lifecycle managementEnsure proper recording, documentation and closure of ticketsAssist in updating training manuals and procedures for new and revised tasksFollow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolutionOpportunity to learn and grow in many IT based roles and positions as we are an always learning based organizationSchedule:Office hours Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm40 Hours per weekNights & Weekends coverage as needed to support emergencies, scheduled outages, etc.Benefits:Full time benefits after the appropriated waiting periodsWork Location:Abingdon, MD Office and local travel to client locations as neededOvernight or extended travel to remote client locations within the US may be requiredOvernight or extended travel to locations outside the US may be requiredWork RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Information Technology Work: 2 years (Required)Work Location: One location
