Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a retirement community seeking an HR Coordinator to support their corporate office. If you bring a high level of customer service and experience in administrative and/or HR support functions including onboarding and reporting, apply now!

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for daily employee inquiries and HR core programs/processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including maintaining database and statistics for reporting, leading employee events, and special projects
  • Lead the employee filing system/digitalization initiative and HRIS data management
  • Ensure completion and compliance for new hire paperwork and preemployment requirements
  • Coordinate on site onboarding/orientation, including printing employee handbook and putting together new hire packets
  • Support with audits of licenses and certification requirements
  • Support Sr HR Manager with coordinating OSHA 300A log
  • Complete monthly dashboard updates and HR communication boards
  • Create and maintain personnel files
  • Create and maintain assigned reports and develop analysis as directed
  • Provide support as needed to the VP of HR and Senior HR manager

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree and Min 2-3 year's HR experience or equivalent education/work experience
  • Knowledge of federal, state, local laws
  • Proven customer service and team collaboration skills
  • Proficient in MS office and any HR based software
  • Knowledge of Pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel preferred
  • Flu shot and Covid vaccination required
