Duties

  • You will be responsible for establishing the shift and assigning personnel as required.
  • You will provide analytical support to a variety of entities as assigned or in conjunction with senior level management.
  • You will advise on selection of personnel for off-yard travel by evaluating their place on the Volunteer Travel List, qualifications, training, and skill level.
  • You will submit travel requests to the necessary department and tracks the completion date and timeframe in which orders will be ready for pick up.
  • You will request/cancel medical appointments, training, and other events that impact the employee's ability to be assigned as projects and internal shops available resources.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

Experience applying principles, methods, tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, evaluating, and managing projects and resources, including technical performance;
Experience identifying and analyzing problems; weighs relevance and accuracy of information; seeks/generates and evaluates alternative perspectives/solutions; makes timely/effective recommendations, based on potential implications of findings or conclusions;
Experience evaluating and identifying the causes of problems, and chooses courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders;
Experience identifying a need for and knows where or how to gather information; organizes and maintains information or information management systems. Determines its importance and accuracy, and communicates it by a variety of methods.

Education

For GS-11:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
