VIBE Annapolis Live Music, Food & Drink is a multi-use concert and venue space that will feature show-stopping entertainment from touring acts to comedians. This space will feature a built-in performance stage with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, two large bars serving up creative cocktails, and a full catering kitchen with event planning services.VIBE Annapolis is seeking a general manager who will oversee, coach and develop the service staff and manage the day to day operations of the bar and restaurant. The right candidate will have a passion for the industry with the experience to match. Some responsibilities will include staffing, training, entertainment relations, liquor inventory and ordering, employee scheduling and more.Responsibilities:Recruit, interview, hire and train staff. Provide leadership and support.Interact with customers to develop loyalty and handle customer concernsMaintain liquor licensing and ensure that staff is following local requirements and proper alcohol distribution regulationsEnsure staff is following all food and safety regulationsCreate employee schedulesCreate and set all standard operating procedures including opening and closing process, cleaning checklists and hospitality standardsWork with liquor vendors to develop new promotions for the barVendor relations, maintain inventory, and order suppliesQualifications:Three plus years in restaurant and/or bar managementMust be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days and weekendsMust be 21 years of ageMust be trustworthy and reliableGreat interpersonal, communication and customer-service skillsExtensive knowledge of liquor, bar tending and service protocolsAlcohol awareness training (ie Tips, ServSafe certified or ability to be certified)Solid organization skills, ability to budget and manage financesJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per yearPhysical Setting:BarCasual dining restaurantSchedule:Evening shiftEvery weekendNight shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:According to current county regulations all staff must wear protective face coverings ie masks.
