A critical thinker who will provide insightful financial information and analysis to drive smart business outcomesArabella Advisors seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our Corporate Finance team. The position reports to the Deputy CFO and will be responsible for financial reporting, planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting concepts, an ability to collaborate at all levels, and be passionate about how finance can drive business outcomes.Essential Responsibilities: Preparation of corporate forecasting and annual budgeting in collaboration with Line of Business leaders and department headsGather, review and consolidate financial data for executive and board-level reportingActively monitor and manage the firm's cashflow (weekly forecast, cash transfers, investments)Compile quarterly bank reporting and monitor covenant ratiosDevelop and maintain billing rates based on market research and best practicesCreate forecast models and sensitivity analysis to determine revenue, costs and profitability for various scenarios and new growth initiativesAssist with development and implementation of financial reporting systems and softwareProvide economic analysis and due diligence support for acquisition activitiesOther reporting/analysis as needed such as ROI and balanced scorecardTo Be Successful in This Role, You'll Need: Minimum 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysisBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceAdvanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting toolsAbility to identify and translate data trendsSolid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting proceduresAbility to handle sensitive materials and maintain confidentialityExcellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex financial matters to non-financial personnelAbility to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage workload with minimal supervisionOur Core CompetenciesThe ability to solve complex challenges by identifying innovative solutions and facilitating coordination with othersThe ability to facilitate and negotiate among stakeholders with conflicting needs and to generate consensus among decision makersThe ability to work cooperatively and inclusively with others to achieve shared goals, including encouraging and facilitating effective compromise and drawing on the capabilities of all team membersThe ability to use available resources and feedback to continually develop mastery in your roleThe ability to elevate the voices of marginalized colleagues and mitigate power dynamics with staff with less formal authorityOther preferred qualifications: Experience with a professional services organizationData visualization skills and experienceAbout Arabella AdvisorsArabella Advisors helps foundations, philanthropists and investors who are serious about impact achieve the greatest good with their resources. Our base salaries are based on a blend of similar sized organizations from different sectors, including nonprofits, foundations, and professional service firms.
