Accounts Receivable ManagerCompany: American Pool EnterprisesLocation: Owings Mills, MarylandAmerican Pool, a subsidiary of The Amenity Collective, is looking for a results-driven Accounts Receivable Manager to join our accounting team. American Pool is the largest full service commercial pool management company in the United States. Our clients include homeowner associations, condos, apartments, hotels, country clubs, fitness clubs, and military bases.As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will support American Pool Enterprises by ensuring the accurate invoicing of customers and the collection of payments on behalf of the company. The Accounts Receivable Manager will work closely with customers to ensure that payment deadlines are met. To succeed in this role, the Accounts Receivable Manager will possess strong accounting skills. A successful Accounts Receivable Manager will be able to ensure that customers pay their accounts on time to effectively strengthen the company's financial position.Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 / yearEssential Responsibilities: Work with our operating offices to maintain focus on A/R collectionsManage A/R aging and ensure that it stays within acceptable rangesContact customers, when needed, by telephone and email with regards to past-due invoicesAssist customers with questions related to invoice payments and cash applicationsEnter conversation notes into database system with accuracy and in a timely mannerPursue further collection efforts when needed, including available legal remediesSkills and Qualifications: Previous related work experience requiredKnowledge of receivables, invoices, and credits; experience with A/R accounting systemsExperience with ACCPAC and other higher-level computer accounting packages (not QuickBooks) is a plusWorking knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other MS office programsAbility to communicate with customers and office personnel in a highly professional mannerAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to document notes in our systems accuratelyExcellent communication, planning, and organizational skillsAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsAbility to work independently and take initiativeBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevantBenefits: As a Member of the American Pool Team You Can Expect: Compensation commensurate with experience in a bi-weekly pay cyclePosition is full-time, year-round, salaried, OT-exemptMajor Medical and Dental as part of an available corporate benefit packageAvailability of short and long term disability programs401(k) Plan after first year of employmentPaid Time Off and Paid Holiday programCorporate personnel support in various areasJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Accounts receivable: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
