We are looking for a responsible Assistant Manager to help organize and run our retail stores and fill in for the Store Manager when needed. Your job will be highly important in ensuring the sales team meets its goals of efficiency and customer satisfaction.Ultimately, the duties of the Assistant Manager are to make sure our stores operate effectively, and that we keep our customers happy.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Retail Store Manager in planning and implementing strategies to attract customersCoordinate daily customer service operations (eg sales processes, orders and payments)Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectivesMonitor and maintain store inventoryEvaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needsSupervise and motivate staff to perform their bestCoach and support new and existing Sales AssociatesMonitor retail operating costs, budgets and resourcesSuggest sales training programs and techniquesCommunicate with clients and evaluate their needsAnalyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioningHandle complaints from customersResearch emerging products and use information to update the store's merchandiseCreate reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competitionConduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentableMake sure all employees adhere to company's policies and guidelinesAct as our store's representative and set an example for our staffRequirements:At least 3 years experience in retail.Must have a high school degree.Leadership and organizational abilitiesInterpersonal and communication skillsProblem-solving attitudeFlexibility to work in shiftsJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offSchedule:10 hour shiftSupplemental Pay:Commission payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
