The ideal candidate will be an experienced and skilled writer with some technical knowledge and familiarity of Salesforce or CRM software technologies. You will be able to work with both internal and external partners to conduct research, interviews, and gather necessary subject matter knowledge/understanding to write engaging content.Responsibilities: Write targeted, differentiated, B2B customer-focused content that is aligned with the company's marketing strategies and prioritiesWrite primarily digital content that is related to Salesforce solutions, company services, CRM software technologies, or industry trends (for example, web and microsites, email campaigns/newsletters, blog posts, educational articles, customer success stories/case studies, Project-Go-Live announcements and press releases, integrating charts, illustrations, and imagery where necessary, and ensuring a differentiated customer experience).Ability to collaborate with both internal and external partners to obtain in-depth understanding of Salesforce and the company's products, services, solutions, and processes in order to write engaging and technically accurate content for communication channels mentioned above as well as to identify and execute new content writing opportunitiesBuild a unique competitive advantage by strategically developing and managing written online content and communications.Help maintain a content calendar that supports key marketing strategies and prioritiesIncorporate SEO/SEM best practices to all written web contentSupport with other special writing requests as requiredMaintain a consistent brand voice and customer experience across all communication channelsAdhere to all timeline requirementsOversee and escalate any reputational or legal risk related to content created and publishedProduce high-quality content that is appropriate for both the communication medium and its intended audienceAnalyze existing and potential content, identify re-use opportunities, and continuously improve content based on customer feedback and usage metricsReview and edit all content for grammatical and technical accuracy prior to final delivery / publishingQualifications: Exceptional command of the English languageExcellent written communication skills - ability to write concise, clear, compelling, grammatically and technically correct copyStrong creative marketing, advertising, and web copywriting skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills - ability to work creatively and quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExcellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with internal and external teams and partners.Demonstrates a passion for Salesforce/CRM software technologiesAbility to develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voiceAbility to adapt different writing styles for various platforms and audiencesStrong understanding of creating content that drives engagement and integrates SEO best practicesProactive self-starter and a team playerRequirements: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field3+ years of experience in a similar role, creating long-form content in tech spaceSalesforce and/or CRM software technology industry knowledge and experience is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office.
