We are looking to hire one candidate for the role and we are open to having the future hire work in either location.The RoleThe Human Resources (HR) VP will report to the Senior Vice President of Business Operations and be a key part of a team made up of HR, Finance, Contracts & Legal, Facilities, Security, and IT. We are seeking an HR VP with a balance of strategic and operational expertise who can define and execute an HR strategy that aligns with STR's mission and business objectives.The successful candidate will:Build and lead a team that currently has 15 talented and high-performing HR professionalsDevelop and execute a talent acquisition strategy to recruit and retain high-performing talent, including campus recruiting & recruitment marketingDevelop and organize learning & development programsOversee diversity, equity & inclusion effortsShape culture & employee experience/onboardingSpearhead employee relationsOversee performance optimization effortsOversee benefits administrationAnalyze compensation to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace as well as internal equityEnsure that systems are in place for HR process efficiency, including assessing, implementing, and sustaining an HR information systemEnsure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and policiesRequirements10+ years of experience as HR Leader/Director in a high growth environment; preferably in the high-tech industry environmentExperience leading, building, and developing high impact teamsSignificant experience driving talent acquisition in a highly competitive environmentDemonstrated experience building learning and development programs, preferably in a high-tech environmentExperience with refinement and execution of performance management processesExperience with benefits administrationObjective and balanced leader able to deftly navigate complex situations involving conflict and negotiate positive outcomesExemplary integrity, decision making, and ability to maintain strict confidentialityStrong oral and written communication skillsBachelor's Degree required.
