POSITION SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the quality testing of incoming materials, bulk, and finished goods in order to ensure that all C-Care customer specifications are adhered to.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PMESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Test incoming materials against specifications in a detail oriented and timely manner.Record results following GMP principles of good record keeping.Communicate issues or work in progress to the incoming shift and supervisor.Standardize lab equipment as needed (pH meter, spectrophotometer).Maintain clean and organized workspace, including glassware, utensils, equipment.Complete training on all essential SOPs, test methods, and work instructions.Replenish reagents as needed.Flexibility to work overtime and switch shifts as needed.Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Chemistry or related field of study is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required.1-2 years of experience working in a lab environment is preferred.Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.Good organizational and team skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Problem solving skills/analytical troubleshooting.Basic computer skills.Strong attention to detail.Knowledge of good documentation practices.Flexibility with schedule and ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
