Position Summary: Serve as a liaison between the members and the credit union by accurately performing transactions, providing information and referring potential prospects to appropriate staffEssential Functions and Responsibilities:Ensure exceptional service to all external and internal members to foster and capture the credit union brand. Consistently delivering on our brand promise, vision and mission statementsEducate members regarding all Call Federal products and services in a consistent sales environmentUses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer member inquiries via face-to-face, telephone and or emailProvide prompt efficient accurate information and basic teller transactions and adhere to Call Federal check cashing and deposit authority limitsVerifies important information including endorsements, dates, and identification, to cash or deposit checks and pay out funds.Open accounts for existing membersProvide services such as Visa gift cards and Visa cash advancesRespond to member requests/ problems/ complaints and direct them to appropriate staff for additional assistanceOrdering of all electronic/digital servicesAccountability for all assets under your control; including cash drawer, if applicableProcess check imaging thru branch capture dailyAssist members with all member service formsUncover opportunities for member engagement, via in person or outbound sales calls to achieve sales goalsAdvocate and demonstrate company brandOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious cash handling experience, minimum of a yearPrevious retail experience, minimum of a yearRequires flexible schedule availability including evenings and weekendsExcellent interpersonal skills requiredSelf-motivated; can work independently, but also in a team environmentTakes initiative to proactively add value to the member and credit unionPositive and optimisticTrustworthy and honestAttention to details a mustAcceptable background check; credit, criminal and insurance verificationEnvironmental Factors and Physical Requirements:This position requires the employee to work indoors in a typical office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations, and the ability to stand, walk stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-25 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
