We take action, show courage, relentlessly focus on our customers and are committed to continuous learning and a culture of inclusion.We are in search of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) that will support the branch by answering product questions, engaging in suggestive selling and building relationships in a fast-paced environment. The CSR will be responsible for processing orders, preparing correspondence and fulfilling customer needs to ensure the highest level of customer service. In addition, duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Essential Responsibilities: Process quotes, orders and returns by various forms of external means such as incoming calls, email and fax.Inform customers of sales promotions while also suggestive selling product lines.Resolve product or service questions while determining the best solution to solve the problem within standard company timelines.Assist with will call counter for walk-in customers, as needed.Partner with shipping, receiving and transportation to fact-find and troubleshoot issues and communicate to outside sales or external customers accordingly.Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers (internal and external) at all times.Strive to be the single point of contact for various requests from outside sales including customer quotes, order placement, product sourcing, shipment tracking, and other requests.Follow company procedures, guidelines and policies.Assist with special projects as requested by management.Minimum Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience working in customer service or a call center atmosphere.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to problem solve with a positive, can-do attitude.Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.Zendesk Experience RequiredAbility to stay calm with all customers seeking resolution to a problem by providing support and superior customer service until resolution is met.Must be able to work 8AM - 5PM schedule (overtime as needed).Successful passing of a pre-employment background and drug screen.What We Offer: Associate Benefits include: Competitive pay, Health, Dental and Vision insurance, Life and Disability insurance, Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, sick and volunteer time, Flexible spending and health savings accounts, 401(k) Retirement account with company match, Employee Assistance Program with concierge, work/life services and no-cost counseling for all kinds of needs, Education support program to include tuition reimbursement, Business Travel Accident insurance, Maternity and Parental leave, Adoption assistance, Lowe's Associate Discount and broad discount platform.
