This position requires strong communications skills and a good phone manner, although you will mainly be using chat programs and other operating systems.This is a role that will be crucial to our clients and the ongoing success of our company.Duties & Responsibilities: provide basic technical customer servicemaintenance of data protection measures, such as firewall configuration and black/white listskeep track of server activities, such as data flow and bandwidth of networkassist clients with installation and reinstallation of operating systems and softwarecommunicate efficiently and accurately with engineers about the issues reported by clientsRequired Skills and Qualifications: Associates degree is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.Must be bilingual in both English and Mandarin Chinese to communicate effectively with customers and staff based in China.Must have accurate typing skills and be comfortable using computers. We will provide job training related to the position.Able to multi-task and to function effectively under pressure.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter, expected to provide independent quality work while meeting strict deadlines.This position would best suit a gentle personality who works well with others but is equally able to work independently as required.Should have a desire for to continuously learn new skills in a fast-changing sector of the communications industryOffice Environment Details: The successful applicant will be based in a nice open plan office in a modern Class A building.Our office can be quiet, but this will change as we grow.Initially, you may be asked to work remotely as a temporary measure in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.Compensation Details: This is a full-time position with a rotational shift work schedule, working between 32 and 40 per week. In the unlikely event you are required to work above 40 hours per week, overtime payment will apply. Working days include weekends and holidays. Salary range is up to $36,000 per year for the right candidate. Benefits provided will include health and dental insurance at no cost for the employee and a pension plan with company matching contribution to 3% of salary.
