Building CustodianJob duties:Responsible for cleaning and maintaining cleanliness at jobsite. This includes mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces, emptying trash and recycling, dusting of furniture, workstations, conference rooms, any meeting areas. Laundering of hand towels, stocking of kitchen and bathroom supplies.Shampooing rugs, carpets, cleaning wood, tiles, other floors.Cleaning inside glass.Continual cleaning and disinfecting of common areas and high touch areas where employees could have close contact, meeting rooms, break rooms, check-in area, waiting area, handrails, doorknobs, etc.Maintain separation and avoid cross contamination of all cleaning supplies such as sponges, clothes, mops, etc. due to COVID-19. (ie bathrooms vs. office). Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance/wash closets.Loading/unloading dishwashers, cleaning coffee and tea equipment, clean up caterings and cleaning of conference rooms.Assist Office Manager with set up for caterings and meetingsRemoval of leaves, snow, and debris from sidewalks in front of entrance doors.Build into a daily schedule as needed, to be "up front" for UPS, Federal Express and greet visitors when needed.Maintain inventory of cleaning products and supply Office Manager with orders for new products.Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance closets.Occasionally assemble small items.Some maintenance items, such as changing light bulbs and ceiling tiles.Power wash small indoor garage as needed (10 car garage).All other duties as assigned.Since 1970, My Cleaning Service, Inc. has been a leading post-construction and janitorial cleaning service in the Baltimore-Washington Corridor.
