This is a remote field position where the successful candidate will complete home inspection services and data collection for our insurance and valuations clients in their surrounding counties. The successful candidate will thrive in an autonomous, metric driven, fast-paced role with little supervision.Field Inspector Job SpecificationsA' . Part Time (20-30 hours weekly).A' . Shifts during daylight hours.A' . Flexible schedule, including some Saturday availability is required.A' . Serviced Areas: Cecil, Hanford and surrounding counties as needed.Field Inspector Core ResponsibilitiesA' . Calling borrowers and homeowners to schedule data collection and inspection dates and times.A' . Arriving to properties unannounced to conduct exterior home inspection services.A' . Following up with borrowers and homeowners through phone call or text if necessary.A' . Conducting phone and onsite interviews regarding property specifics including but not limited to building materials, year built, private property protection, additions, renovations, or construction, etc.A' . Collecting photographs of the interior and exterior of the property including but not limited to photos of the roof, all sides of the home, exterior amenities and hazards, external obsolescence, heating, plumbing, electrical systems, interior furnishings and building materials.A' . Identifying and reporting on hazards, quality or condition of the property, outbuildings and the surrounding neighborhood if applicable.A' . Measuring the perimeter of the property using a wheel and inputting accurate diagram of the home including square footage and different components into mobile application.A' . Measuring portions of the interior and diagramming rooms, amenities, and walls.Field Inspector RequirementsA' . Must be 18 years of age.A' . Must have a smart Phone (Apple or Android, & phone must be no older than 4-5 years to support mobile app).A' . Must have laptop or computer.A' . Must have home Internet.A' . Must have valid driver's license.A' . Must possess reliable vehicle (required to use own vehicle).A' . Appropriate attire, business casual.A' . Must be willing to work in all weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Snow, Rain, Wind, etc.).Field Inspector Preferred SkillsA' . Customer service experience is helpful, but not required.A' . Experience in home inspection services is preferred, but not required.A' . Knowledge or experience in the following is helpful but not required: delivery services, installation maintenance or repair (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), door to door sales, landscaping or groundskeeping, grounds cleaning and maintenance, insurance, data collection, working outdoors, construction, valuation condition reports, or real estate appraisals.Field Inspector CompensationA' .
