RESPONSIBILITIES: The Kroll Cyber Risk marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager of Events and Field Marketing to spearhead our global event strategy, encompassing hosted, sponsored, and experiential events aimed at our key target audiences. Because of the systemic changes caused by the pandemic, experiential events need to be carefully evaluated, remarkable, and build key relationships to support our business goals. In this role you will work closely with our experts, our sales team, other Kroll practices and key partners to build our global event calendar, improve our trade show presence, create unique hosted events, strengthen the Kroll brand, and generate demonstrable ROI. You will be a key element in the evolution of our account-based marketing program and act as the intersection of digital marketing and business development to create meaningful engagement with clients and prospects. Key Responsibilities include: Work with marketing, sales, and global product leaders to develop an event strategy based on business and account objectives; spearhead initiatives to meet objectives based on lead generation, customer advocacy, account engagement, and more Spearhead Krolls Cyber Risk practice event and tradeshow strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events, creating and conducting internal team training for attendees (elevator pitches, demos, review of key talking points), maintaining pre- and post-show communications, and achieving event attendance goals Work with marketing and sales leaders to organize and staff customer and sponsored events, account-based campaigns, and partner activitities Budget management including development and oversight of event budgets and communicating expectations with internal teams and vendors Negotiate and execute contracts for large- and small-scale events following required procurement steps Travel frequently up to 50 percent of your time may be spent traveling to various events Drive marketing influenced pipeline and generate MQLs through onsite activities and support of the sales team Analyze, track, and report on event ROI based on predetermined pipeline, revenue, and MQL metrics using CRM, email marketing, project management, and similar systems Manage a global team of event and field marketing specialists Build relationships with strategic partners to devise and orchestrate joint events Partner with branding and creative team to ensure event presence accurately represents the Kroll brand Oversee all event-related logistics, including but not limited to ordering and tracking event inventory such as booth materials, collateral, giveaways, etc. Identify new, creative ways to engage our clients and partners through experiential events REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years prior work experience in cybersecurity, preferably in incident response, MSSP, MDR, or similar areas Proven experience carrying out event marketing efforts worldwide, including trade show planning, attendance, and tracking efforts to business outcomes Experience partnering with an enterprise sales team and aligning marketing goals with the organizations business goals Move easily between generating big, creative ideas, and driving ongoing process improvement Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects, resources, budgets, and onsite personnel High energy, driven individual with the ability to establish rapport and confidence with internal stakeholders and partners Deep understanding of cybersecurity services and solutions, marketplace, and competitive landscape Proven track record of exceeding sales targets Ability to travel for work, including to conferences, internal meetings, and to partner and/or client sites History of working for rapid growth technology firms Familiarity with Salesforce.com, event management and marketing automation platforms In order to be considered for a position, you must formally apply via careers.kroll.com.
