CMT/Medication Technician/Caregiver The Oblates of St. Francis de Sales are looking for responsible, caring Certified Medication Technicians to work in their retirement community, Annecy Hall. We are hiring for a full time position on the 11p-7a shift. The primary purpose of the position is to provide each resident with activities of daily living, medication administration, and other services.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of Certified Medication Technician: Administer medications and treatments to residentsAssist residents in maintaining activities of daily living (personal hygiene, bathing, oral care, foot and nail care, skin care, dressing)Communicate changes in resident condition to Delegating Nurse ManagerAnswer call bells in a timely mannerSchedule doctor's appointments and testsAssist in admission of residentsTake and record vital signs and weights, as assignedAssist residents with toileting needsAssist residents with transfers (beds, wheelchairs, and recliners)Assist residents with meals, feed if requiredEscort residents to meals, activities and appointments if assignedRecord intake and outputKeep residents room(s) and service areas clean, orderly and safeDistribute and change linens, as neededProvide range of motion and ambulation, as needed.Turn and reposition residents as needed.Help maintain privacy and personal dignity of residentsComplete necessary paperwork in a timely mannerParticipate in in-services, training, and meetingsEvery two (2) hour rounds and safety checks as neededComplete assigned laundryOther duties as assigned by licensed staffJob Type: Full-timePay: $14.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offMedical Specialty:GeriatricsPhysical Setting:Long term careSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysOvernight shiftWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:Maryland CMT (Preferred)Shift availability:Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
