The Hotel is located at the intersection of Woodmont, Wisconsin and Norfolk Avenues in Bethesda, MD. The hotel is steps away from Marriott Headquarters with a pedestrian plaza that will serve as an open public connection between the two buildings.The hotel will offer nearly 8,000 square-feet of state-of-the art flexible space for meetings, conferences, and banquets. The flagship hotel will provide both businesses and residents of Bethesda with an amazing place to host events. All meeting rooms feature floor to ceiling windows allowing natural sun light, ideal for both intimate social and inspiring corporate events.The hotel will also offer exceptional dining and social amenities, including a ground-floor restaurant with an innovative locally inspired menu offering indoor and outdoor dining on the pedestrian plaza. An exclusive MClub for Marriott Bonvoy Elite Members, Great Room, lobby bar and a rooftop bar with incredible views of the city.As Bethesda's next world-class destination, the hotel is close to a myriad of dining options, night life, attractions, and shopping experiences in both downtown Bethesda and Washington, DC. This legacy project will stimulate economic growth and enhance Bethesda's cultural experience.**JOB SUMMARY**Our Property Administrative Specialists play an important role in a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels, Property Administrative Specialists work across departments (eg, Guest Services, Engineering, Food & Beverage) to support administrative needs. Whether providing administrative support (eg, prepare documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software), serving as the point of contact for clients and vendors, or acting as the liaison between the Sales Office and clients throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event), our Property Administrative Specialists get the job done. They are critical to ensure smooth operations throughout the entire hotel.No matter what position you are in, there are a few things that are critical to success creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and departments, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
