Summary:This position is responsible for working with sales executives and account managers in preparing requests for proposals, obtaining and analyzing carrier quotes, inputting data into various automation systems. It also works collaboratively with the internal team to perform financial analysis of a clients plans. Responsibilities: Execute competitive bidding of all coverage lines and prepare reports outlining financial and contractual analysis according to company policy.Review vendor proposals for accuracy.Assist Sales Executives to evaluate, determine and recommend alternative. coverages, pricing, options, and plan design changes based on analysis of available plan elements and on client/prospect goals.Produce deliverables timely, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.Develop positive relationships with vendor representatives.Remain abreast of the health insurance environment and constantly changing insurance legislation.Respond to routine and non-routine correspondence.Work independently and within the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.Represent AssuredPartners in a positive and professional manner with both internal and external customers.Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in a deadline driven environment.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Travel is expected to be 10% in this role. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in business related field2-3 years employee benefits industry experience preferredCombination of education and/or equivalent work experienceLife and Health Insurance License and/or obtain within 90 daysProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong PC skills with the aptitude to learn new systems
