DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises is seeking a candidate who can use and apply total life cycle management, as well as inform the requirements process by identifying logistics capability gaps, requirements generation, acquisition, fielding, sustainment, and disposal of material solutions and apply Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000 acquisition processes, relating it to products, production, and sustainment. Primary duties will include (but not limited to) : Use and apply total life cycle management, as well as inform the requirements process by identifying logistics capability gaps, requirements generation, acquisition, fielding, sustainment, and disposal of materiel solutions. Use and apply Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 5000 acquisition processes, relating it to products, production, and sustainment. Lead efforts to ensure that logistics requirements (eg, ease of use, maintainability, sustainability, logistics footprint, operator s point of view, etc.) are incorporated into the fabrication and integration of systems. Serve as an adviser for materiel solutions project management techniques and best practices. Conduct queries and reports on program assets to ensure program combat readiness meets Government-defined needs. Coordinate with the sources of supply to ensure on-hand and planned inventories are adequate to support Government programs. Design and implement systems to collect, maintain, and analyze data. Generate progress reports and other logistics tracking information related to programs within the portfolio. Work with program logisticians to identify risks and issues; research appropriate Department of Defense (DoD) logistics guidance, regulations, statutes, or best business practices; and develop alternative courses of action to address those risks and issues. Provide recommendations for logistical issues to leadership. Develop and implement logistics concepts, strategies, and plans. Assist in the development of new or improved logistics methods and assist in the preparation of strategy papers and/or presentations. Support and assist in developing and refining new logistics requirements, procedures, and guidelines as needed. Serve as an organizational Point of Contact (POC) to outside organizations. Assist in milestone planning by providing logistics input to technical briefing materials, documentation, and program schedules. Draft, review, staff, and provide comment to logistics-related documentation. Assist in the development of acquisition documentation and briefing materials. Coordinate and attend logistical meetings, program reviews, conferences, and briefings. In addition, the contractor shall provide input to prepared presentation materials and displays, and develop meeting minutes after each event. Shall be logistics conversant on Multi-Service IPTs, Tiger Teams, and Working Groups. Attend program-level logistics IPT meetings to maintain awareness of program issues and to develop a greater understanding of the program(s). Track the status of action items, program milestones, and monthly sustainment reports. Assist with submissions of official logistics taskers. Maintain a library of program-specific electronic files and logistics reference materials for program files. Perform all aspects of program logistics from project pre-systems acquisition through sustainment in accordance with established policies and guidelines. Provide on-going logistics, acquisition, and administrative support by managing and coordinating the total life cycle of programs. Manage cost, schedule, risk, and performance issues for projects and programs throughout their life-cycle and provide advice to the Government lead. Perform logistics engineering and management of assigned programs. Provide logistics input to programmatic, systems engineering, and/or integration support. Provide product support (eg, training product development, logistic demonstrations, manual validation/verifications, Instructor/Key Personnel Training (IKPT), task demonstrations, warfighter working groups, user assessment, stakeholder liaison activities, etc.) for the logistics, deployment, and training of JPM CBRN P programs. Assist in the development and maintenance of assigned programs of record and programs transitioning to the sustainment phase. Oversee the identification of, planning for, resourcing, financial management, and implementation of management actions to acquire repair parts, spares, and all classes of supply for the JPM. Coordinate supportability efforts with stakeholders within DoD and the Joint Services, as well as other Federal and Non-Federal agencies, to facilitate and resolve complex logistics issues. Conduct logistics analyses using Government- furnished tracking databases to reduce costs. Develop, design, and implement annual and long-range technical and programmatic plans (eg, Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), etc.) and measures to track programs and realize the product development components of the strategic goals for CBRN technologies. Control expenses on all logistics-related acquisitions to stay within budget guidelines and established priorities, and exercise economic savings for assigned programs. Review all slides and attend specified portfolio reviews for situational awareness. Provide a consolidated logistics schedule, including schedules for all programs in a given portfolio, and update it monthly. Develop a list of required logistics documents for each program, to include projected need dates for each document. Compile and maintain templates for program logistics documentation. Develop programmatic logistic documentation for JPM CBRN P systems. Develop, update, and maintain assigned program strategies and plans. Provide review and comment of Joint and Service logistic training and fielding plans. Review and coordinate transition plans. Provide logistics input to Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for assigned programs. Review and provide input for Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). Conduct Federal Logistics (FEDLOG) and Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS) data reviews. Provide logistics input to technical briefings, documentation, and program schedules. Update Government reporting systems for assigned programs of record and ensure accuracy of the program s status within its life cycle. Update information for portfolio reviews and provide informational briefs. Research and prepare responses to assigned taskers and portfolio Joint Acquisition CBRN Knowledge System (JACKS) - CBRN-Information Resource Center (CBRN-IRC) Determine appropriate logistics assignments, set priorities, monitor status, and report on progress towards meeting milestones and deadlines. Manage logistics SharePoint sites related to assigned CBRN programs. Travel in support of government logistics efforts. Attend meetings or discussions either in person, via telecon, or using Microsoft Teams if on-site gatherings and/or travel are restricted EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Preferred: DAU Level III certification in Life Cycle Logistics is desired. DAU courses will be at Government cost; however, travel costs (ex: Per Diem, lodging, mileage) will not be at Government cost.
