About this role This unique Research Director role is focused on content promotion and client engagement. The role will work closely with C-level executives to identify and promote research that solves complex business challenges on a global scale. This includes understanding the needs of the Finance executives we serve, determining which research to promote, and ensuring all Gartner Finance clients see and hear our best ideas on a recurring basis. Mission of the role Bring energy and passion to the way we promote our best Gartner insights to Finance clients. Ensure all Gartner Finance clients (CFOs, FP&A Leaders, Controllers, Heads of Finance Transformation, and Shares Services Leaders) see and hear about our latest digital Finance data and research and know what to consume to make progress against their mission critical priorities. What you will do: Partner with key research leaders to know what new content will be publishing soon and select the most important insights and data each client segment should hear about. Track consumption patterns of key research pieces and build strategies to improve upon how many clients are seeing and reading our research. Select the most appropriate content for outbound communications to our clients and write powerful headlines and text to empower our clients to read/listen and take action based on what they learn. Navigate broader Technology, ESG, Cyber Security, Digital Business, and Blockchain research across Gartner and help position this research for Finance leaders. Improve the way our research reaches clients by thinking about new bite-sized ways to bring our best ideas to clients. Enable our global sales and service teams to put the best new research in front of clients by providing scripting, video overviews, positioning, and call agendas. Ensure our best new research insights are embedded into our Gartner conference and event strategy. Help build and run our new Gartner Podcast for CFOs, by selecting topics and preparing speakers based on our best insights. Partner with the Marketing team to position the right insights and content by role to perspective Gartner clients. Support our CFO Executive Partners by recommending the best new research and insights to CFO clients in our premium segment. Help the Chief of Research stay on top of key trends impacting Finance and craft compelling stories that allow us to package and position Gartner research for clients. Talk to clients regularly about how they are consuming our research and use their feedback to improve the processes above. What you will need: Bachelor's degree in a Business, Economics, or other Social Science, Masters/PhD Preferred Experience working in Corporate Finance and/or with Corporate Finance Executives Experience working with commercial or client service teams to bring products to market Strong writing capabilities, marketing capabilities a plus 10+ years of work experience in a consulting, content, ideas or technology company Experience in working with a team of researchers Proven competence for meeting deadlines, multi-tasking and managing work under ambiguous/uncertain circumstances. Experience conducting primary and secondary research utilizing qualitative and quantitative data for pattern recognition. Experience converting qualitative and quantitative information into clear frameworks, narratives and visually compelling presentations. Collaboration and consensus building skills. Who are we?
