No matter where you work in our company, you are on a career path with challenges and opportunities for continued professional development and growth, and we are committed to your health and overall well-being. #FADWHAT WE OFFER OUR BARTENDERS:Flexible schedulingBenefits for full time workers after waiting period- including paid time off & health coverage (medical, dental, vision)Discounted Shift Meal + generous discount when dining as a guestEmployee wellness initiatives, including company massage therapistTraining & career growth opportunitiesFree online mental health therapy (unlimited text messaging and two optional 30-minute live video therapy sessions per month) through our partner, TalkSpace, for all employees and their immediate family membersWHAT YOU NEED TO BE A BARTENDER:Excellent communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs. as neededContinuous bending, stooping, reaching, twisting and use of hands and armsWHAT BARTENDER TRAINING TASKS MAY INCLUDE:Complete TIPS training prior to training behind the barComplete FRG Bartender training program with a certified bar trainer, which consists of at least 7 days of intensive bar training as outlined in the bar training manual and workbookPass all required training testsPass a recipe test before taking AM service bar practicalPass AM service bar practical which includes creating 6 non-alcoholic beverages in 10 minutes or less, among other benchmarksWork AM Service bar shifts until certified to next level of the bar through practicalWHAT BARTENDER TASKS MAY INCLUDE:Assist in taking orders from guests for food or beveragesCheck with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problemsCheck patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beveragesCollect payments from customersRing accurate guest checks/Sales using POS systemRemove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaningServe food or beverages to patrons and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as requiredAssist in Cleaning of tables or counters after patrons have finished diningExplain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methodsAssist host by greeting, seating, and thanking guestsPerform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, tidying up station, taking out trash, or checking and walk in coolerInform customers of daily specialsPrepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wineStock bar with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens, fresh syrups, juices, ice, and other necessary items to perform a shiftDescribe and recommend wines to customersProvide guests with information about local areas, including giving directionsOther duties assigned
