Belvoir, VA. The individual will collaborate with established teams in a fast-paced environment with a high expectation for excellence while working through complex and challenging processes to develop leap-ahead analytical capabilities across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will share in the team's positive, can-do attitude toward achieving its goals. Additionally, the role requires the ability to interpret and model data structures, pioneer advanced reporting tools, and steer change management. Qualified candidates will be able to work independently and communicate issues, risks, and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence (BI) report development to Senior leaders within the program.Position Responsibilities:Generate analytical solutions to complex data problems through data modeling, building business intelligence reports, and designing and implementing solutions that yield easy-to-interpret, relevant, and actionable insights.Support data and analytics requests by gathering business requirements, sourcing, and validating data, analyzing data, building models, synthesizing insights, and presenting results.Support the development and automation of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and dashboards to monitor the health of the client program and share those insights with Senior Leaders. Will be required to refresh reports with current data drawn from disparate data sources across the enterprise.Partner and collaborate with internal and external teams to understand, define, and refine business needs and identify key opportunities and challenges, and develop short- and long-term data analytics tools and infrastructure, taking ownership of the role within the team.Provide recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements and assist in policy development to support change initiatives based on data-driven decisions.Provide hands-on writing of technical formulas (ie , Excel, DAX, and M) to synthesize program performance insights within reports. May write code to automate reports and templates and consolidate data into reports and performance dashboards.Be able to work in an agile development environment using the M365 suite.Build reports leveraging the Microsoft Power Suite.Additional Project Support Activities:Possesses and independently applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments; may be assigned responsibility to participate in or lead project efforts to:Support organizational-level operations and information with higher headquarters, subordinate organizations, and external stakeholders;Manage taskers and staffing packets;Develop and publish organizational-level operations functional policies and procedures, orders, Letters of instruction, other directives, and communications (EXSUMs, Information Papers, Briefings, Reports, etc.);Control manages and schedule organizational resources (conference rooms, calendars, etc.);Plan, resource and support organizational events (command and staff meetings, town halls, ceremonies, etc.),Archive Operations functional documents and information;Represent operations functional leadership at meetings and conferences; andPlan and manage facility requirements.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Active Secret Clearance RequiredEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Mandatory: Bachelors degree and 6 years relevant experience, or Associates Degree with 10 years relevant experience performing Additional Project Support ActivitiesWaivable/Substitutable:CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:Mandatory:Waivable/Substituable : PMP PreferredEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :Minimum of 3 years of experience performing Position ResponsibilitiesExperience working with or in a DoD environmentStrong communication, presentation, and collaboration skillsDemonstrably strong analytical skillsProven problem solving, time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently to execute the Commander's IntentADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:To be eligible for employment, you must be fully vaccinated, except in limited circumstances where an employee is legally entitled to an accommodation, by January 4th, 2022, or your start date, whichever is second in time.
