Wiggles & Giggles Daycare Center is looking for a Teacher'sAide/Floater. This individual must posses a love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every day. Ability to build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happens.Required SkillsOutstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage multiple situations effectivelyMust possess active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and meet NAEYC candidacy requirements (or willing to obtain)CPR and First Aid Certification and willingness to obtain ADA certification is required1+ year Early Childhood Education Experience (preferred)Can be immediately terminated if it is determined that you are on your personal cellphone without permission will include using/texting for any purposes besides for emergency purposes/usesMust meet Maryland state specific guidelines for the roleMust be physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors. Must be able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.Demonstrate behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible.Actively participate in all center activities to include fundraising events, parent/teacher conference, and other festivitiesHelp other staff in preparing meals for children as required. Assist in the cleaning and straightening of the childcare roomsEngage in active play with children; this will often mean getting down on the floor to interact with themAbility to speak, read, and write English.Other task as assignedCOVID-19 consideration: Wiggles & Giggles Daycare LLC, has a vaccines requirement for all staff.
