Title: DB2, z/OS DBA (Remote)Direct Hire OpportunitySorry, no sponsorshipDuties/Responsibilities: DB2 Systems administration duties to include design/implement and support database architecture; be tasked with DB2 system performance, maintenance, installation, upgrades, security, synchronization, and support. Will be involved with database replication, back-ups, restores, tuning, and scaling DB2 systems. Strong systems level experience to include creating new DB2 subsystems, installing new function levels, tuning, and security. Will troubleshooting systems, monitor jobs and follow maintenance plans, and proactively monitor database performance. Will develop, test and implement ETL processes from external/internal sources. Will provide 24/7 on-call rotating duties to minimize issues and system downtime. Will monitor disk space on database and storage servers, CPU, and Memory. Identify areas for improvement, tuning, and automation.
