What the Right candidate with enjoyworking for a cutting edge healthcare organizationMonday-Friday scheduleFull healthcare benefitsBe a leader for a prestigious organizationKey Responsibilities The Director of Human Resources oversees all aspects of Human Resources operations, policies, and processes for the organization. The Human Resources Director advises and supports leadership in the areas of performance management, employment law, compliance, and employee engagement.Manages and resolves complex employee relations issuesDevelops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall system business strategyDevelops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organizationProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to leadershipProvides guidance on compensation and benefits administration, including merit processes, open enrollment, and benefits communication.In conjunction with the SVP CHRO, develops and manages the operational budget for department; identifies cost saving strategies related to administrative or operating expensesWorks with Leadership to develop succession plans and strategic initiativesAssesses training needs and implements and monitor training programsAnalyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policiesEnsures organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all employment mattersServes as member of HR leadership team providing expertise on Labor/Employee Relations. May participate in full range of labor relations activities and work including labor negotiations depending on facility.Oversees the hiring, orientation, and training of assigned staff. Provides leadership and technical guidance to team. Develops standards of performance, approves staff performance evaluations and recommendations for personnel actions such as merit increases, promotions and disciplinary actions.Performs related duties as required.Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.Experience within healthcare HR preferred but NOT a must. Can come from any industryMaster's Degree in Industrial/Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, or related field preferred BUT NOT A MUST.Professional certification as PHR or SPHR through SHRM preferred BUT NOT A MUST8+ years of experience managing and directing the activities of professional and/or managerial level human resources staff required . This experience should reflect a strong and diverse generalist to include both employee and labor relations. Union avoidance experience is highly preferred, with knowledge of labor activities in a healthcare environment.
