SUMMARYThe SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment. This position is responsible for understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. This position resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions for improvement and enhancement. The SharePoint Administrator also provides principal level innovative solutions with a long-term prospective on the relationship the SharePoint technology has to the business needs of the agency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for the integration of CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, including: commitment to integrity, knowledge/quality of work, supporting financial goals of the company, initiative/motivation, cooperation/relationships, problem analysis/discretion, accomplishing goals through organization, positive oral/written communication skills, leadership abilities, commitment to Affirmative Action, reliability/dependability, flexibility and ownership/accountability of actions taken. Supports Client SharePoint Administration, management and enhancements. Manages systems security and patching. Provides daily support, including maintaining end-user access, site development for agency and individual project trams, and SharePoint troubleshooting/problem resolution. Manages and maintains site content and structure settings, site hierarchy, and site collection navigation. Designs, configures, manages and maintains comprehensive site collection, site, and list level usage reports and usability analysis. Updates documentation, checks the validity and accuracy of any documentation that is used by the end-users, site owners and administrators. Allocates additional storage quota to the site collections as they reach the maximum storage limit set by default. Configures and administers SharePoint and automate tasks.Works on tickets and service requests for Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint Online O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on-premise environments meeting the SLAs in the ITSM system. Tests and implements new features in a SharePoint on premise environment. Troubleshoots issues and provides customer support for end users utilizing O365 SharePoint Online O365 Enterprise SharePoint and on premise environments. Schedules, plans and performs system upgrades, including testing, rollback procedures, and risk analysis for email and all related services. Streamlines and enhances SharePoint administration and site development processes and procedures and provide management improvement and monitoring services for SharePoint site activities and data storage. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers. Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and human resources. Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum of six (6) years' relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience. Experience managing and administration of enterprise-level 0365 SharePoint 2013. Experience troubleshooting issues and providing customer support for service requests related to 0365 SharePoint and on-premise environment. Experience migrating sire collections using Sharegate. Experience working with Active Directory, PowerShell and eDiscovery site collections. Experience with Microsoft Exchange in a resource forest model with other disciplines such as Active Directory and desktop, web and mobile clients, preferred. Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 compliance controls such as DLP and RMS, preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGRISTRATIONMicrosoft Certified Technology Specialist SharePoint Configuration preferred. JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIESProficient skills in building and deploying SharePoint solutions.Proficient knowledge of SharePoint 2013 as well as related technologies (ie, Web Parts, Master Pages, MMS, SharePoint Designer).Operational knowledge and understanding required to create site definitions and SharePoint site configurations / customizations.Advanced operational knowledge and understanding of SharePoint object models and systems development life cycle (SDLC).Working knowledge and understanding of (or ability to quickly grasp) SharePoint Governance support, and back office application support.Working knowledge with ability to develop Windows SharePoint (WSP) packages for deployment to staging and test environments.Knowledge and understanding of SharePoint security.Knowledgeable in the use of PowerShell. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to identify problems, determine accuracy / relevance of information, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations.Ability to work effectively with others to achieve goals.Ability to work from a project plan as well as to assess needs, aid, resolve problems and satisfy expectations.Ability to organize work, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and complete assignments within the established timelines.Ability to work independently or in a team environment. LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
