Business AnalystWe are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Qualifications and Responsibilities:. Strong knowledge of JIRA is a must. Communicate well with other leaders, teams and stakeholders. Strong facilitation skills. Researches and develops documentation about products and processes based on meetings with managers and subject matter experts.. Maintain a highly complex professional/administrative workload.. Responsible for on-time completion of all tasks assigned. Must have experience with the analysis of business, both functional and technical activities. . Responsible for working with users and customers to document and strategize for process improvements for current business processes (business process re-engineering). . Ability to gather, validate, and evaluate project, product and program data to develop ad hoc and recurring reports in short suspense. . Have strong analytical and investigation skills crafting solutions to challenging problems or issues. Must be able to organize and collect reporting among the projects on the program. Experience with VA development and release processes is highly desired. Understanding and supporting the Agile delivery model, whether Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Lean Kanban or other iterative development approaches. Understanding of DevOps and Tools. Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge. Able to perform document reviews at an expert level. Requirements:. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required. . 10 Years of Experienced Required (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education). Veteran Focused Integration Process PM Methodology (VIP). Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements. Familiar with the project management methodology is a plus. PM-related certifications such as CSM, PMP and ITIL are not required, but good to have. Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision. Experience in all areas of the software development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure and management practices a plus. Must have experience with diverse IT Development projects large enterprise environments.. Knowledge of Broadcom Rally Software is a plus Security Clearance Requirements:.
