We remain an equal opportunity company.The Lockheed Martin Manufacturing Finance team is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The Analyst performs multiple financial activities in support of RMS Operations, as part of the RMS Manufacturing Finance organization.Responsible for financial analysis on assigned programs. This includes but is not limited to planning, data extraction, analyzing, and reporting cost information in dollars and hours using the standard manufacturing EV templates for assigned manufacturing projects/programs.In this role you will build and maintain contract baseline budgets in dollars and hours as well as determining estimates-to-complete projections for Manufacturing Labor and Material on assigned programs. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Developing baseline budgets, analyzing weekly and monthly actuals and EV performance- Performing risk assessments, statusing work complete and providing interim project cost estimates and estimates to complete updates using the appropriate tools.- Supporting the Manufacturing Program Manager by providing a positive relationship and good communication of the financial status and health of the program.- Assist program office in manufacturing program specific requests.- Analyze program performance and provide reasons for cost and schedule variances with analysis in accordance with Management (EVM), as well as the financial impact, recovery plans and delivery impacts.- Keep program team members and senior management team aware of the financial health of the program.- Ensuring the integrity of the performance data through management of various exception conditions such as material suspense, pegging defaults and zero balance- Lead or support other Ad-Hoc financial requestsBasic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field- EVM Experience- Proficient with LM Financial tools- Understanding of Finance, this position is not accounting.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Thrives in constantly evolving environment.- Ability to balance conflicting priorities.- Deadline driven with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as requirements change; strong team member characteristics.Desired Skills:- Knowledge of and experience with Earned Value Management- PPMP Experience- Grouping, Pegging and Distribution understanding- Self-starter.- Creative and Forward Thinking.- Seeks out exciting assignments.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
