Duties

• You will operate PC computer terminals, laptop computers, interface devices, hand-held microprocessors, local area network, front-end software, and control devices.
• You will troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, calibrate, and field test the Direct Digital Controls (DDC) system components.
• You will perform research of sources for procurement of components for installation, modification, maintenance, replacement, and repair of DDC systems devices, software, and HVAC equipment and materials.

• May be required to serve as an on-call duty mechanic on a rotational basis. An on-call duty mechanic is required to carry a duty cell phone and duty pager and must remain available to respond on site to after-hours emergencies within two hours.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying. Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
