Experience: Mid-LevelTravel Required: NoOverview of the Role:Reporting to the Accounting Director, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for executing all aspects of Accounts Payable functions for Privia's corporate headquarters.Primary Job Duties:Review all invoices to ensure appropriate coding, support, and approval. Liaise with GL and FP&A teams to resolve any questions.Prepare and review expense and payment extract files from SAP Concur or its successor system.Execute ad-hoc payment requests (manual checks or ACHs) as needed.Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting to internal stakeholders on stale invoices, payment status, late payments, etc.Assist with month-end close, including AP month-end accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and assisting with cash recording and reconciliation.Prepare, review, and submit annual 1099's for vendors in compliance with applicable requirements and deadlines.Maintain accurate and complete AP files, vendor files, W9s, and documentation in accordance with company policy.Analyze existing AP processes to identify and implement enhancements as appropriate.Manage AP team inbox: respond timely to vendor and internal status inquiries, resolve and close cases timely, escalate matters as needed.Assist with system implementation and upgrade efforts.
