In addition to these duties, the Environmental Services Floor Technician also routinely cleans specialty areas and performs advance floor care duties. All may have access to or oversight of Protected Health Information (PHI)Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent preferredOne year experience in hospital or healthcare related setting preferredExperience opperating electrical motorized floor equipment. Candidates will be required to demonstrate ability to opperate equipment.Responsibilities:Maintains all assigned patient rooms, ancillary areas, department areas, clinic areas and corridors with the correct routine or preventative maintenance procedures as outlines in department policy or as requested. Will execute cleaning strategy as directed by leadershipUtilizes electrical motorized floor equipment for routine maintenance of resilient floors and carpets. Provides routine cleaning maintenance of all equipment used, reporting faulty equipment promptlyEfficient and safe in the use of housekeeping equipment and solutions as observed by Supervisor/ManagerAssists in the collection and proper disposal of all waste streams generated by the hospital to ensure a safe and sanitary environmentMay function as an assistant in special floor care projects and may function as a project leader for specific assignments
