Residential Concierge - WITH BENEFITS ( VA, MD, DC ) Compensation: $15.20/HOUR+ Hours: 3pm - 11pm , Mon - Fri (Note: we also have a weekend need Sat/Sun - if interested in only weekends, please note that in your application) JOB BRIEF We are looking for a reliable and friendly Concierge to work at our condominium and apartment buildings in Washington DC (we also have openings throughout Virginia and Maryland as well). You will be the first person to greet residents and their guests. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, dependable and able to provide service with a smile. The certification is recognized industry wide and does not expire). * Candidates must have a positive, upbeat demeanor with outstanding customer service, communication and organizational skills. * Prior concierge experience is a plus, but not required. * Previous professional experience in an office environment preferred. * MUST be dependable and trustworthy. Required Uniform: Men: Solid Black Business Professional Suit, White Button Down Shirt, Solid Black Tie, and Solid Black Dress Shoes. Women: Solid Black Business Professional Suit (pants or skirt with matching suit jacket), White Button Down Shirt or Blouse, and Closed Toe Solid Black Dress Shoes. Mandatory Overall Appearance: * Clothing and hair should be neat, clean, and groomed. * Hair color should appear natural in color (no extreme colors such as blue, green, purple, etc). * No visible tattoos * No excessively large earrings or facial piercings Job Requirements: Serve as concierge and greet guests, residents, vendors, suppliers Answer phone within 3 rings Improve resident and guest service by projecting and providing a positive and friendly first impression Accept and enter packages into system Maintain cleanliness of general areas and front-desk Providing comprehensive concierge services to residents while providing a positive first impression for all guests and service providers Notify front desk of return guests Make reservations if needed Handle requests from community residents and managers Notify residents of guests Perform other duties relating to office work and concierge duties Work as part of the concierge team to exceed all guest/owner expectations Assist guests with retrieval of packages
