To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable individual to join our team as a Human Resources Compliance Intern. This position supports the Human Resources team to ensure Human Resources policies and processes are efficient and compliant with all regulatory agencies and requirements. This role will support and assist with thorough audit reviews of HR compliance processes. This position reports to the Human Resources Manager.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Participates in on boarding new employeesAssists with the maintenance of permanent and electronic personnel recordsProofreads HR documents including audits and handbooksResponsible for making meeting and travel arrangements when neededDevelops a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resources.Minimum Qualifications:Ability to work independently and meet specified deadlinesOutstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-taskExcellent writing and speaking skillsSkilled in computer knowledge and usageSeeking an undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related fieldPreferred Qualifications:Proficient with Microsoft Office ExcelAbility to audit and analyze dataWork Environment:Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipmentAbility to work flexible schedule, if neededNon-ExemptPhysical Requirements:Occasional lifting up to 25lbs The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required for this position.
