Description If you are interested in supporting a non-profit organization that rewards your performance and diligence, this is the Assistant Controller role for you! The selected consultant will report to the CFO and support all day to day, reporting and analysis functions. Day to day responsibilities: Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close process. In addition, the consultant will be responsible for leading and facilitating the annual financial audit, overseeing the preparation of IRS Form 990, 990T, and the Districts Form D20. Support the planning and preparation process for the annual budget, working closely with Senior Leadership and Program Managers. Review, approve and provide guidance to the Accounting Manager and their direct reports regarding all GL and Accounting functions. Establish and maintain procedures to allocate revenue and expense between parent organization and all subsidiaries. Provide internal and external reporting focused on consolidations and grant/fund accounting. Additional duties as presented by the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
