We bring the right people, capabilities, and experience to bear to enable informed decision-making and solutions that deliver our clients the value necessary to enable the mission.We are currently hiring a Director of People Strategy to partner with other company leaders to foster high levels of employee engagement while developing and executing strategies that positively impact the engagement, development, and retention of top talent across our business lines.The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, matrixed environment and can comfortably lead initiatives across all People Strategy functions independently including performance management, employee relations, organizational design and management, compensation and benchmarking design, employee engagement and retention, and culture. This person will partner with company leaders to develop and execute strategies in areas like diversity and inclusion, coaching/development, organizational design, recruiting and retention, professional development and career pathing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and much more. The individual must exude positive energy while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with significant opportunity to positively impact employee satisfaction while providing stability to the business. This is a full-time role, reporting to the Senior Vice President in a remote work environment. Some in person meetings may be required to support various activities.Specifically, the ideal candidate will:Partner with Delivery, Growth, Operations, and Capability Building leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that support corporate strategic objectives.Provide strategic HR direction and coaching to people managers to positively impact the engagement, development, and retention of talent.Demonstrate leadership as advocate, coach, and facilitator in building diverse, inclusive teams.Identify key trends and supporting data to recommend, implement, and manage People Strategy initiatives.Identify organizational gaps and deploy impactful people strategies in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, and Diversity and Inclusion that will enable teams to perform effectively and scale efficiently.Collaborate with other functional leads to refine career pathways, proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions.Support other functional leads in defining and scaling team structures to support growth.Champion the MBL culture, promoting the MBL mission, vision, and values while leading and facilitating employee engagement initiatives.Develop and implement a people strategy to support the growing needs of the business.Own the annual Performance Review process, stay interviews, and employee engagement survey throughout the year, collaborating with other business and functional leaders to support continuous improvement activities as needed.Provide counsel and guidance on complex employee relations situations, partnering with legal counsel and MBL executives as necessary.Develop and maintain processes and support internal and external audits related to People Strategy (eg International Organization for Standardization [ISO])Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of human resource and/or People Strategy experience preferably in a Government contracting or technology company.Demonstrates a history of leadership in HR-related functions, creating strategies, managing professional development initiatives, and fostering positive staff experiences.Able to prioritize and organize strategic initiatives and related activities in a team environment.Demonstrates experience working with senior leaders on organizational design, compensation planning, professional development, recruiting and retention, and other strategic initiatives.Demonstrates an ability to create and deliver communications effectively across multiple audiences, in both verbal and written manner.Demonstrates experience in HR Compliance and Reporting, including developing reports such as the Affirmative Action Planning (AAP) and Vets 100 reports.Possesses experience in complying with Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) policies and regulations, as well as the procedures for responding to requests from the cognizant organizations.Able to develop strategy and translate into operational reality, breaking down strategic priorities or initiatives, and aligning communication, culture, and process implementation.Able to create, analyze and communicate metrics while translating data into action planning.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships at all organizational levels.A collaborative team player with a desire to roll-up your sleeves and problem solve.Experience with multiple HR information systems and technology platforms such as Paylocity, Procas, Jamis, Namely, or similar systems.Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion in sensitive matters to support issue and risk resolution as well as communicate status and escalations to relevant members of the leadership team.Able to quickly build rapport and work across business lines to develop cross-team solutions in a fast-paced environment.Due to the nature of our contracts, all qualified applicants selected for hire will undergo a Pre-Employment background check and must be able to show proof of US CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business Administration, Management and Organization, Human Resources, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in organizational transformation, human resources consulting, and/or people practice development.Participation in recognized industry organizations such as the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).Professional certifications such as the Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or other relevant industry certifications.Prior experience working with a growing small business and supporting the transition to a mid-tier company.Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy, environment with a high degree of ambiguity.Knowledge of current talent development and performance management solutions, techniques, and tools.Strong change and project
