Overview:The Benefits Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day benefits operations including customer service, data analysis, administration and communication of Company benefit programs.Responsibilities:Customer Service - provide customer service to employees through interactions via telephone, email and in person. Ensure interactions are professional and positive. Service as main point of contact for benefits inquiries. Act as a liaison between benefit vendors, brokers and employees in seeking swift resolutions to problems.Benefits Processing - assists in the benefit enrollment, termination, and benefit change process; uploads deductions to the payroll file;Benefit Reconciliation - reconcile and audit monthly insurance invoices and deduction reports; resolve billing, cancellation or changes of coverage.Benefit Communication and Education - host benefit information sessions regularly on a variety of benefit topics; update Millennium Benefit Guides annually and as needed.Open Enrollment - participate in the annual open enrollment processCompliance - manage annual processing of 1095 forms; plan testing.Worker's Compensation - manages Worker's Compensation administration by reporting and following up on all claims in a timely manner.Leave Administration - Manage Family Medical Leave (FMLA) , California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL) leave requests, determine eligibility, prepare correspondence, monitor usage. Complete employee disability forms for processing.Audit - Assist in annual retirement benefit plan audits.Rewards & Recognition - Manage employee anniversary programMaintain discretion in matters of confidentialityQualifications:Demonstrated basic knowledge of employee benefit programs.Strong communication skills, writing, communication, customer service and analytical skills.Ability to perform mathematical calculations in computing rates, premiums and adjustments.Proficient in Microsoft Office products, experience working with databases and generating reports.Strong organization skills and attention to detail.Highly motivated, autonomous and proactive with a genuine interest in employee benefits.Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocolsApplicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
