Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Description:**The maintenance technician is responsible for the general maintenance, preventative maintenance and turnovers for a 96 unit community of town homes. Responsibilities include:- Electrical work including changing light bulbs, running wire for smoke detectors, replacing breakers and GFI's- Plumbing including unclogging sinks, toilets- General carpentry including fixing doors, trim work around units- Minor HVAC work to include charging AC units, add Freon, cleaning, changing filters and minor troubleshooting- Appliance Repair- installing a burner igniter, replacing dishwasher or refrigerator, removing garbage disposals**Skills:**Troubleshooting, Blueprints, OSHA, Customer Service, Plumbing, Carpentry, Hand tools, Power Tools, EPA License, HVAC**Top Skills Details:**Troubleshooting,Blueprints,OSHA,Customer Service,Plumbing,Carpentry,Hand tools,Power Tools**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Must Haves2-5 years of experience working in general maintenanceProficient with hand and power toolsAbility to read blueprintsValid driver's licenseAbility to professionally interact with residents, contractors and vendorsNice to HaveBilingual (Spanish/ English speaking)CFC Type I, II or UniversalJourneyman's or technical training**Experience Level:**Intermediate Level**About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
