Overview: The Recruiting Intern will serve as a point of contact for the day-to-day functions matters related to the recruiting processes and procedures. This student will provide support to the Recruiting team and will be responsible for maintaining Recruiting systems records, candidate files, and keeping standard processes operating smoothly. The Recruiting Intern will also assist the College Recruiter with the 2022 Intern Program. Responsibilities: Serve as a secondary point of contact for day-to-day Recruiting administrative duties Maintain Onboarding life cycle of new hires to include management communications, workflows, Excel spreadsheet updates, and IT system access requests Assist Recruiting Coordinator with the NWFCU Summer Internship Program events, communications, and meetings Provides junior level Recruiter duties on an as-needed basis Contact active and passive candidates and conduct initial phone screens Assist with reviewing and dispositioning applicants Maintain candidate databases via our applicant tracking system Send recruiting emails to qualified candidates using various sourcing methods Maintain and update job postings using multiple job boards and social media channels Create collateral for the internship program and career fairs Help plan and attend recruiting events Assist with the electronic archiving of offer letter and employment applications Qualifications: Required Must be a college student junior or senior level preferred Minimum 3.0 GPA required Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to work well in a team setting Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Outstanding organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated skill of accuracy and excellent attention to detailPreferred A balanced resume, which includes solid academic performance and campus involvement Interest in pursuing a career in an HR related fieldAs a COVID-19 safety measure, our employees must provide vaccination status and follow all safety protocols, which may include testing.
